I don't drink coffee in the morning, because instead I drink Diet Coke. In fact, I tend to drink 3 of them throughout my entire day, and it's very unhealthy I'm aware. However, I need them to work at school. It's not unusual, I mean, I AM 18, so I'm not entirely up to snuff on the "getting up and ready to go" part of my adulthood yet. I probably never will be either, I've accepted. Therefore, the Diet Coke is here to stay until I can kick the habit. My mom drinks/drank a lot of coffee. I mean a LOT of coffee. The ironic thing is, as you get older, you drink more, except you still get tired sooner. Kids are always like, "I wanna stay up as late as you guys!" and the parents tell them they don't want them to stay up that late because they're doing things that aren't for kids. Adult things. Such as bills, packing lunches, work, taxes. Ya know, ADULT stuff. They don't wanna destroy the magic of being a kid by showing them that adulthood is BORING.
So, with all this knowledge, the only thing left to say is I should keep drinking Diet Coke. But when I stop, I don't intend to drink Coffee, because apparently it makes you become an adult. I NEVER wanna become an adult.
It's too boring.

I like how you lead into the cause and effect relationship between coffee and adulthood. It's a subtle conversational build-up similar in style to CBS's Andy Rooney. One might even say that the piece is Rooneyesque.

Ha, thank you very much. Ya know, I tried drinking coffee once and it just didn't do it for me, tasted weird, and I just did feel too adult, and I wanna stay a kid as long as I can. To visit the beta site for my blog, go here now:
