I'm sure anybody who reads this blog has either watched "Seinfeld" or is aware it is among my top 5 all time favorite shows. That being said, I went to see "CloverField" last night and it seems to ME that bad sh*t ALWAYS happens in New York. Seinfeld, Cloverfield. Seinfield.
But what do you think would have happened in Seinfeld had kept the show going well into the early 2000's? Because they were always having bad stuff happen to them, and they seemed to be the cause of alot of deaths in the series, and bad accidents to other people. So just imagine what would happen if his show was still on when 9/11 hit. They would blame Seinfeld for bad karma to the city.
"You made fun of our city for 12 years now, and THIS is what we get!"
They'd ban him. They'd cancel the show, see, that's what people do, they latch onto one thing or one issue and blame everybody else for their problems, and everybody else for their solutions.
It's the american way.
